Bernard Margueritte, President of the International Communications Forum and well-known broadcaster in Poland, delivered a speech on ‘Family - Media - Development’ during an international conference entitled ‘Poland for the Family, the Family for Poland’ in the Polish Parliament, held 9-10 March. His speech was very well received.
The conference was opened by Bronislaw Komorowski, Speaker of the House, Mrs Jolanta Fedak, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, and Archbishop Henryk Muszynski, the Primate of Poland. The conference was financed by the European Union. Several hundred people attended, including ministers of Labour from the Czech Republic, Hungary and Lithuania, mayors from Polish cities (Warsaw, Poznan) and towns, as well as numerous European academics and NGOs representatives.
