War Reporting – Where does a Journalist’s Duty Lie? - London, United Kingdom 2008

Conference organised by the ICF at St Bride’s Church, Fleet St, London EC4, Wednesday 9 April 2008 

The conference covered issues raised by war reporting, with a particular though not exclusive focus on exploitation for good or bad of material disseminated through new media sources, and the way journalists respond to these challenges.

Keynote speaker: Phillip Knightley, Author of “The First Casualty: The War Correspondent as Hero, Propagandist and Myth-Maker”

Panellists: Stuart Allan, Martin Bell, Jonathan Baker, Martin Huckerby, Rafael Marques, Yvonne Ridley
