Intern opportunity - Media ethics with the International Communications Forum

Friday, May 27, 2011

International Communications Forum logoFounded in 1991, the International Communications Forum [1] (ICF) is committed to media ethics and the freedoms of expression and information. The ICF runs workshops where senior media professionals talk frankly to students about the ethical issues they face in their careers. This programme has been successfully trialled at the Lincoln University School of Journalism, and the ICF now plans to offer this more widely.

The intern will help promote the workshops to UK schools of journalism, drawing on the ICF’s 20 years of experience in running conferences and seminars worldwide and its many contacts at a senior level in the media.

The intern will be based in London SW1, working an average of 15 hours per week. The initial period of employment will be for six months, with a possible extension for a further six months. For further details including remuneration and an application form please e-mail the ICF here [2], marking your message “INTERN”.
